Profound and Fundamental
As soon as Yashodhara woke up from her sleep. She noticed. She saw the signs that Siddharth had left the house. Even before this, she knew about Siddharth’s inner voice. she had also known Siddharth’s seminal life goal.
Yashodhara was saddened that Siddhartha had left her. She was also proud that her host had gone to do some great work. But he left her without telling her ,was actually distrusts on her part .She could not let go that sadness. Which was evident from her talk with her friend.
सिद्धी हेतू स्वामी गये ये है गौरव की बात
पर चोरी चोरी गये यही बडा व्याघात
सखी वो मुझसे कहकर जाते
क्या हुआ मुझे अपनी पथ बाधा पाते
Means
It is a matter of pride that Swamiji went for Siddhi.
But it is a big problem that he went secretly,
he would have told me before leaving.
What would have happened had he found me obstructing his path.
Yashodhara could not bear it that Siddhartha left her without telling anything.
Two and a half thousand years ago.In human history a very important pacein human evolution took place. The journey that Siddhartha crossed to become Gautam Buddha. This journey was a milestone in the entire history of human beings. A milestone because such a revolutionary and great work happened that the human race was no longer remain what it was before.
Two and a half thousand years ago.In human history a very important step in human evolution took place. The journey that Siddhartha crossed to become Gautam Buddha. This journey was a milestone in the entire history of human beings. A milestone because such a revolutionary and great work happened that the human race is no longer remain what it was before.
Gautam Buddha told that there was a light (Inner Light) inside a human being. Do not believe in my words. I will show you the path to see the light within you. Follow that path. If you see the light within you, accept it as the truth. Otherwise, there is no need to believe on my words . And there is no need to search for it outside. But if you enter your own inner world, it is something that can be seen.
This path towards in the direction of light is awareness, was brought to the vision of everyone by Lord Buddha. The path is to become a physician of your own , developing own insight and reaching the final destination of human being . And what is the first step of it ? There is no external mantra. There is no technique. nothing but our own breath that we all keep taking. To speak scientifically, Buddha developed a method of formulating scientific hypotheses about religion.
Because the journey of human life is from believing to understanding. Understanding became knowledge. Knowledge increases confidence. The possibility of superstition disappears. Therefore, the vision of each person develops, through which he understands his own structure, his own technique. And then come to know the reason Why human life is suffering? To be able to see those reasons with a neutral spirit. This was Buddha’s fundamental way of treating every human being .
Gautam Buddha is not a visionary but a seer. Vision is presented by thinking about what is seen? So being a seer means seeing directly. Because by thinking about it, vision is not achieved. Moreover, thoughts can only about known things. If we want to know the unknown, it can only be done by developing the ability to see.Thoughts are the subtlest. For those of us who live by inertia, it is very difficult to grasp our own thoughts.
While living our surface level life .If we really think over . What are my real thoughts? Are they mine ? Or I just borrowed from somewhere .The answer is my thoughts are taken from others .No one thought is my original .But no one pays attention to this. Thoughts are constantly changing, thoughts are opportunistic, sometimes lead from ignorance to heresy.
Once Mulla Nasruddin ties his horse to a place and goes to a shop to get some goods. After coming back what he sees ? Someone has painted the horse red. Mulla Nasruddin gets very angry. After investigating, he finds out. Someone sitting in the liquor shop opposite has done this. So the Mulla rushes to the shop. And speaks loudly. Whoever painted my horse red. I will not stay unless his bones and ribs are one. Whoever painted it, tell me the truth. A six and a half feet tall wrestler stands . Mulla Nasruddin realises, oh, now it is very important to save my bones and ribs far away from here. So the Mulla says to the wrestler, no, I came to tell you that the red paint you gave my horse has now dried. When will you put another hand on it?
Such are the thoughts. Opportunist.
So Lord Buddha says. Leave traditionalism and adopt originality of seer. Because traditionalism forces us to live in the past. Whereas, keeping our vision in the present gives us the confidence to look towards a positive future.
If you only believe in thoughts, vision cannot develop. Because the burden of thoughts does not create the strength to see your inner landscape.
Therefore, by becoming a vision.
Be the Light! You yourself are the Light.
Your belief will not light your inner lamp. It already exists within you. By acquiring original power of seer you can see the lamp within you . But achieving vision is not as easy as applying thoughts. If you want to achieve vision, you have to become a doctor of yourself .So you have forgo your nowadays vision. You have to suffer yourself too. That is why we have all been avoiding it till now.
But we all have to find our own inner light, which is the ultimate destination of humanity.
Lord bauddh have put forward some universal elements to make human life happy. First of all, consider your own conscience as the standard one . The entire living being depends on the fruit of karma. Then there cannot be any high or low status on the basis of birth. Gautam Buddha further says that there are three types of sufferings that come in human life: Birth, Death and Disease.
On this, he proposed the theory of cause and effect.
“Of course, if you do karma, there will be results. And if you get results, then the karma must have been done.”
This is called Cause & effect theory. That is, the chain of cause and effect. If the effect is not desired, then the cause must be removed. For this, they have given twelve diagnoses.
To reduce the misery from human life Lord Bauddha gives us four things to do. One is to be joyful. Don’t be jealous of the person who is ahead of you, the person who has reached a higher position than you. Reach a higher position than him. Ask the person who has achieved success and fame. How did you achieve this? Tell him I also want to achieve this. Take his guidance.
Don’t disgust those who are weaker than you. Help them improve their situation.
Do not fight or befriend those who are evil. Keep a certain distance. Do not live life with despair. The biggest cause of suffering is despair. So stay positive. The ultimate cessation of suffering is Nirvana.
For our balanced life Gautam Buddha has given the eight path. Which are well known. Right view, right speech, right memory, right exercise, right action, right livelihood, right resolve, right concentration.
And yes! Gautam Buddha is calling those people to him who are blind because of the ignorance of knowledge and yet they have a desire to see the light (inner light).
I agree that today, while we are living, everyone is not so much interested in self-knowledge. But even while living life. Why am I born here?
(Meaning) What do I want to do after being born? Of course, what is the purpose of my birth? What is my nature? The essence of everything, what do I want? To understand this, we have to enter our own inner self. Only then can we live. Otherwise, we are just alive.
Actually, the Buddhist tradition is very big and evolved. Before Gautam Buddha, the truly enlightened one, there were a total of 27 Buddhas. Before that, we all need to thank the Chinese travelers Yuan Song and Fa Hian. Because it was because of them that we all had a vision of the Buddhist tradition and Buddhist literature, as well as the work done by Buddhists.
Gautam Buddha was the 28th Buddha, then the 27th, then the 26th, and so on. The twenty-second Buddha, Vipassy Buddha, gave the path of Vipassana to the world. Similarly, the period of the first Buddha, Tanhakara, the second, Medhankara, and the third, Saranhakara, is the period of Mohenjo-daro or Harappan civilization. Even today, there are statues of 21 to 28 Buddhas installed in the Ajanta and Ellora caves. The work done by each of them in their respective times is very valuable, which is why it is so profound today.
Six years after attaining enlightenment, King Suddhodana, the father of Gautama Buddha, used to send a message with many people who were going to the Buddha. Tell the Lord bauddha to come to his kingdom, ask him to meet me.
But whoever went to him became enlightened and never returned.
Finally, King Suddhodana sent Chena, Gautama Buddha’s friend, and told him that you would become a enlightened after you went there, but he had summoned Siddhartha beforehand, so tell him.
After a few days, Lord buddha comes to the city kapilvastu. His father meet him. And then Gautam Buddha asks where is Yashodhara.? King Suddhodana says that she is in her palace.
Siddharth left without telling me, he didn’t trust me to let him go, Yashodhara was still not forget thy misery within her .
She always felt. If I am important, Siddhartha will come to meet me. After becoming Lord Bauddha Siddhartha came to her . Without saying anything else, Gautama Buddha pronounces “Bhiksham Dehi” “भिक्षाम देही”outside Yashodhara’s palace . And Yashodhara takes little Rahul’s(their son ) hand and gives it to Gautama Buddha. Gives it as alms.
As you were created, so also create your son. And frees the misery in her own heart.
Blessed are those lives. Sacrificing and dispassionate.
