माता महागौरी

भगवान शंकर यांना आपण नेहमी त्रिशूल धारण केलेले बघतो. भगवान विष्णू चक्र धारण करतात .तर भगवान ब्रह्म यांच्याकडे कमंडलू असते . कमंडलू भगवान ब्रह्माजींचे अस्त्र म्हणूनच ते धारण करतात. कारण कमंडलू हे ब्रह्मांडीय उर्जेने परिपूर्ण आहे.

ब्रम्हा ,विष्णू ,महेश या तीन देवतांपैकी कोणतीही देवता स्वतःचे शस्त्र सोडून इतर शस्त्र धारण करीत नाही.

परंतु शक्तीने माता दुर्गेचे रूप धारण करून जेव्हा महिषासुराचा वध करण्यासाठी पाचारण केले. त्यावेळी त्यांच्या भूजांमध्ये भगवान शंकरांचे त्रिशूल ,भगवान विष्णूचे चक्र आणि ब्रह्मांकडील कमंडलू होते .

याचा प्रतीकात्मक अर्थ हा लावता येतो की जी शक्ती ब्रह्मा, विष्णू आणि महेश यांच्यामध्ये प्रतिकात्मक रुपात दिसलेली नाही. ती माता दुर्गे मध्ये तीनही शस्त्र धारण करून,ती वापरण्याची शक्ती होती असे आपण म्हणू शकतो.

अशारीर कर्तव्य करत असताना तिथे फक्त आत्मबल आणि आत्मशक्ती याचाच वापर केला जातो. तरीही हा जर का स्त्री शरीराच्या माध्यमातून केल्या जात असेल तर स्त्री शरीर आणि त्यात बसणारी स्त्रीशक्ती अर्थात स्त्रीची आत्मशक्ती किती प्रबल आणि चिवट असेल याचे हे प्रकटन आहे.

स्त्री शरीरात वसत असलेली आत्मशक्ती ही पुरुष शरीरात वसत असलेल्या आत्मशक्ती पेक्षा जास्त समंजस गणल्या जाते.

अशा आत्मशक्तीरुपी स्त्री शक्तीचा जागर नवरात्र मध्ये केल्या जातो.

तरीही पारलौकिक जगतात
शक्ती ही पुरुष रुपी किंवा स्त्रीरुपी कधीच नसते. शक्ती याचा अर्थ ऊर्जेपासून केलेले कार्य .

कार्याच्या परिणामावरून आपण त्यांना चांगले वाईट म्हणून ओळखत असलो तरी अखिल ब्रम्हांडाच्या व्यवस्था रक्षणासाठी कोणते पाऊल उचलणे गरजेचे आहे. ती म्हणजे सृष्टी रुपी आत्मशक्ती.

आज आदिमाया आदिशक्ती माता दुर्गेच्या आठव्या रूपाचे पूजन केले जाते. जे रूप माता महागौरी या नावाने ओळखले जाते.
माता श्वेतवर्णी असून सौंदर्यवती आणि कोमलांगी आहे .

आजच्या दिवशी म्हणजेच अष्टमीच्या दिवशी काही लोक व्रताचे पारणे सुद्धा करतात.
अशी माता महागौरीच्या पूजनाविषयी मान्यता आहे की, ज्यांच्या विवाहामध्ये विलंब होतो आहे. किंवा विवाहदोष आहेत. त्यांनी माता महागौरीची उपासना करावी.

माता पार्वतीने भगवान शंकर यांना पती म्हणून मिळवण्यासाठी कठीण तपस्या केली होती. त्याकरता त्यांनी हजारो वर्ष अन्न आणि पाणी ग्रहण केले नव्हते. त्याचा परिणाम म्हणून माता महागौरीचे शरीर काळे पडले .
भगवान शंकरां माता महागौरीच्या तपस्येने प्रसन्न होऊन त्यांचा आपल्या पत्नी रूपात स्वीकार केला. त्यानंतर त्यांनी मातेवर गंगाजल टाकून त्यांना अतिशय कांतीमान बनविले.

माता गौरीच्या कांतिमान रूपाविषयी दुसरी आख्यायिका अशीही आहे .की कालरात्री म्हणून मातेने जे संहारक युध्द लढले. त्यानंतर भगवान शंकरांनी मातेला काली म्हणून चिडवले. त्याचा मनात राग धरून, उत्तेजित होऊन, मातेने ब्रह्माजींची उपासना केली. मातेच्या तपश्चर्येने भगवान ब्रह्मांनी प्रसन्न होऊन मातेला हिमालयाच्या मानसरोवरांमध्ये स्नान करण्यास सांगितले .त्यानंतर मातेची कांती अतिशय उज्वल, कोमल आणि शुभ्र वर्ण झाली.

महागौरी मातेच्या विधीवत पूजनाने सौंदर्याची प्राप्ती होते. आणि घरामध्ये सुख-समृद्धी येते असेही म्हटले जाते.

माता महागौरीच्या चार भूजा असून ,एका हातात त्रिशूल ,दुसऱ्या हातात डमरू तर एक हात अभय मुद्रेमध्ये आहे . देवीला गायन आणि संगीत प्रिय असून, देवी पांढऱ्या रंगाच्या बैलावर बसलेली आहे.

देवीचे काल रात्री स्वरूप जितके भयंकर आणि उग्र होते या उलट माता महागौरीचे स्वरूप हे शांती आणि सौंदर्याचे प्रतीक आहे .

अष्टमी तिथीला भगवती माता महागौरी यांच्या पूजनाने सर्व मनोकामना पूर्ण होतात असे मानल्या जाते.

माता दुर्गेच्या स्कंद मातेच्या पाचवा अवतार म्हणजे स्त्रीचे परिपूर्ण रूप.

त्यानंतर स्कंदमाता ते कात्यायनी. माता कात्यायनी माता ते कालरात्री .या प्रत्येक अवतारा गणिक माता दुर्गा आपल्या शक्तीच्या परम अवतारांमध्ये परिवर्तित होत गेल्या .

माता कात्यांयनीचं स्वरूप हे सर्वशक्तीशाली असून, माता कालरात्री चे रूप क्रोध ,रौद्र आणि भयंकर प्रलयकारी असे परिपूर्ण रूप आहे.

नवरात्रा मध्ये षष्ठी ,सप्तमी तिथीनंतर मातेची पूजा उपासना ही अधिक तीव्र होत जाते. कारण मातेची शक्ती ही अधिकाधिक प्रौढ आणि प्रगल्भ होत जाते.

नवरात्रीमध्ये सप्तमी, अष्टमी आणि नवमी या तिथिंना खूप महत्त्व आहे. माता काल रात्री आणि कात्यायनी ही दोन्हीही रूप शक्तीची अद्भुत रूपे असून ,माता महागौरी चे रूप शांती आणि सौहार्दा चे रूप आहे.

माता महागौरीच्या अवतारात ,माता आपले पती भगवान शंकर दोन पुत्र भगवान कार्तिकेय आणि गणेश यांच्यासोबत अतिशय सोहार्दपूर्ण वातावरणात विराजमान झालेली आहे.

कोणत्याही प्रौढ आणि पोक्त स्त्रीला आपल्या परिवाराची उन्नती आणि सुख याप्रती जे उत्तरदायित्व घ्यावे लागते ते मातेच्या महागौरी या रूपातून दिसून येते.

ही माता अतिशय प्रेममयी आणि प्रेमपूर्ण स्वरूप असणारी आहे .

सामान्यतः भारतीय परंपरेमध्ये स्त्री ही परिवारभिमुख समाज उन्मुख दाखवल्या जाते. तर पुरुष हा समाजभिमुख परिवार उन्मुख दाखवल्या जातो .

अर्थात स्त्रीसाठी परिवार ही प्राथमिकता आहे .परिवाराचे झाल्यानंतर समाज हा स्त्री जीवनामध्ये येणारा घटक आहे.

पुरुषाचे तसे नसून पुरुषांसाठी समाज प्रधान असतो. त्यानंतर परिवार येतो.
कारण पुरुष कर्म प्रधान असून त्याची कर्मभूमी समाज मानल्या जाते.

म्हणूनच कुटुंबाप्रती कुठल्याही स्त्रीचे दायित्व (संपूर्ण जबाबदारी)दाखविल्या जाते आणि पुरुषाचे कर्तव्य.

दायित्व हे आत्मरुपी असते तर कर्तव्य बुद्धीरुपी.

परंतु जस जसे आपण माता दुर्गेच्या विविध रूपांकडे वळतो. त्यांच्या विविध रूपातील प्रतिकात्मक प्रसंग अनुभवतो.

त्यावरून असे प्रतीत होते की माता ही अखिल व्यवस्थेची सृष्टी निर्माती असल्याने माता संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांडीय व्यवस्थेची जबाबदारी घेते.

दुसरा महत्त्वाचा भाग म्हणजे असे मानले जाते की निसर्गाने पुरुष प्रकृती ही प्रयत्नवादी तर स्त्री प्रकृती ही सतीत्ववादी म्हणून निर्माण केलेली आहे.

अर्थात पुरुष हा सतत प्रयत्नरत असतो .आणि स्त्री ही तिच्या जीवनातील पुरुषांवर विश्वास ठेवून फक्त त्याच्या मागे जाणारी आहे .

कदाचित मला असे वाटते की असे रूप नजीकच्या काळात चित्रित करण्यात आले असावे.

अन्यथा आदीमाया ,आदिशक्ती हिच्या कुठल्याच रूपातून असे प्रतीत होत नाही.

कदाचित गेल्या काहीशा शेकडो वर्षांमध्ये स्त्री रूपामध्ये एक संकीर्णता आणल्या गेलेली असावी.

त्याच प्रकारचे नागरीकरण आणि त्याच प्रकारचे संस्कारीकरण. आणि मानवी जीवनात लौकिक जीवनाला मिळालेले अतोनात महत्व. यामुळे प्रत्येक जण आपापली मूळ ओळख विसरून गेला आहे. मग ती स्त्री असो की पुरुष.

परंतु अशा संस्काराने किंवा चित्रणाने आपणास आपल्या आत्मशक्तीचा बोध घेणे दुरापास्त झाले आहे .आणि ज्या माध्यमातून कर्तव्यपरायणता करावी अर्थात शरीर तीच आपली मर्यादा झाली. म्हणून शरीराच्या अनुषंगाने येणारे मन ,त्याच्याच अनुषंगाने असणारी बुद्धी आणि बुद्धीने निर्माण केलेले अस्तित्व म्हणजे अहंकार .
अहंकार एकमेकांचे शोषण करतो म्हणजेच पशुवृत्ती जागृत ठेवतो . एकतर शोषक बनवतो किंवा शोषित बनवतो.
आणि….

जो कोरडेपणा आपण प्रत्यक्ष जीवनात अनुभवतो आहोत.

या पलीकडे आपल्याला आपल्या आत्मशक्तीरुपी शक्तीची ओळखच राहत नाही.

आणि जिथे आत्मशक्तीरुपी बोध नाही .तिथे ऊर्जा नाही. कारण तिथे मौलिकता राहिली नाही म्हणून , जीवनात संगीतमयता (harmony)नाही. आणि म्हणूनच पुढची झेप नाही.

म्हणून नवरात्र उत्सव हा प्रत्येक स्त्री-पुरुषासाठी आरसा आहे स्वतःचे प्रतिबिंब बघण्याचा.

स्वतःशी स्वतःच नव्याने ओळख करून घेण्याचा.

फक्त सकारात्मक रहा. नपेक्षा स्वीकारात्मक व्हा इथपर्यंत मार्गक्रमण करण्याचा.

आपण प्रत्येकाने स्वतःमध्ये निर्माण केलेल्या गुलामगिरीच्या जीन्स (गुणसूत्रे) चा त्याग करण्याचा.

मल्टी टास्किंग, टाईम मॅनेजमेंट, ओव्हर थिंकिंग. इत्यादी संकल्पना स्वतःवर आरूढ होऊ देण्यापेक्षा स्वतःच्या आत्मशक्तीरुपी बलांकडे वळण्याचा. तीच माझी मौलिकता आहे.

कारण प्रत्येक मनुष्याचे लक्ष सार्थकेकडे गेल्यास निरर्थकता राहणार नाही.

आणि केवळ निरर्थकता काढण्याकडे लक्ष दिल्यास ती कधी संपणार नाही.

मानवी जीवनातील निरर्थकता किंवा नकारात्मकता काढणे. म्हणजे फक्त या पायावरचे ओझे त्या पायावर करणे एवढेच आहे त्यातून फक्त भार तोलून धरण्याची क्षमता वाढते .

या सर्व मातांच्या विभिन्न रूपांचेच आपण वंशज आहोत तर मातेच्या प्रत्येक रूपातील प्रसंग आपली भूमिका चोख निभावण्याची शिकवण देतात. त्याचं अनुसरण करण्याशिवाय आपल्याला पर्याय नाही.

“स्वयंस्फूर्त जीवन मानवीयता का द्योतक है|”

अशा भूमिकेतूनच सर्व शस्त्र एकाच वेळी धारण करून प्रत्यक्ष जीवनाला भेटण्याचा आनंद घेता येईल .आणि हे मानव रुपी जीवन जीवन यात्रा संपूर्ण सुफळ करता येईल.
